When a layaway expires

Every layaway has a deadline, shown when you reserve and on the order (“Pay by …”). When there are a few days left, the store emails you a reminder with the amount still due.

If the deadline passes before the order is paid in full:

• The order’s status becomes Expired, and its page says “This layaway expired before it was paid in full. Please contact the store about it.”
• The order no longer takes payments.
• The product goes back on sale.
• The store emails you that the layaway has expired.

What happens to the payments you made is decided by the store according to its layaway terms, linked at the bottom of every page and at checkout. Contact the store about your order.
